The University Quad in bloom
For just a few days each year the Cherry blossoms on the University of
Washington campus in the Quad are something wondrous to behold. We
happened upon them accidentally this year at about 7:00 PM yesterday
evening while waiting to attend a recital at the School of Music. It
was still light and lots of people were enjoying the mild weather and
beautiful blossoms.
Also blooming right next to the School of Music building were these Magnolia trees and a lovely azalea. Several people were taking pictures of the flowers, some had very fancy cameras, but I think my little “point and shoot” Canon did quite well.
